AI Factory 전문기업 엠키스코어(MKISCORE, 대표 정문기)가 글로벌 데이터 플랫폼 기업 WEKA의 대한민국 공식 총판(Distributor)으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 협력을 통해 엠키스코어는 WEKA의 고성능 AI 데이터 플랫폼과 스토리지 어플라이언스를 국내 시장에 공급하고, 파트너사가 고객의 요구사항에 맞는 AI Factory 통합 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 제품 교육, 기술 컨설팅, 영업 지원, PoC 및 구축 지원 등을 제공할 계획이다.
엠키스코어는 다년간 대규모 GPU 클러스터와 HPC·AI 인프라 사업을 수행하며 AI Factory의 성능과 경제성을 좌우하는 핵심 요소에 대한 전문성과 경험을 축적해 왔다. 특히 GPU뿐 아니라 전력, 냉각, 네트워크, 스토리지 및 운영 소프트웨어를 포함한 전체 인프라의 유기적인 설계와 최적화가 중요하다는 점에 주목해 왔다. 엠키스코어는 이러한 경험을 WEKA 총판 사업에 접목해, 국내 파트너사가 고객의 AI 워크로드와 데이터센터 환경을 정확하게 분석하고 최적화된 AI Factory를 제안할 수 있도록 지원할 예정이다.

엠키스코어와 WEKA의 협력은 지난 2022년 리셀러 파트너십에서 시작됐다. 양사는 그동안 국내 AI 및 HPC 시장에서 협력을 이어왔으며, 이번 총판 계약을 계기로 기존 리셀러 관계를 총판 파트너십으로 확대하게 됐다. 이는 양사가 축적해 온 협력 경험과 시장에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 국내 AI 인프라 사업을 본격 확대하기 위한 전략적 전환이다.
WEKA는 AI, 머신러닝(ML), 고성능 컴퓨팅(HPC) 등 대규모 데이터 처리가 요구되는 워크로드를 위한 고성능 데이터 플랫폼을 제공하는 글로벌 기업이다. AI 모델의 규모와 GPU 집적도가 빠르게 증가하면서 GPU 자체의 연산 성능뿐 아니라, 대규모 데이터를 GPU에 얼마나 빠르고 안정적으로 공급할 수 있는지가 AI 인프라 전체 성능을 좌우하는 핵심 요소로 부상하고 있다.
특히 AI Factory에서는 고성능 GPU를 확보하는 것만으로 충분하지 않다. 학습과 추론 과정에서 발생하는 대규모 데이터를 지연 없이 처리하고 GPU가 지속적으로 연산을 수행할 수 있도록 데이터 파이프라인 전반을 최적화해야 한다.

WEKA의 데이터 플랫폼은 이러한 AI 워크로드에서 발생하는 데이터 병목을 최소화하고 GPU 자원의 활용도를 높일 수 있도록 설계됐다. 이를 통해 기업은 AI 학습 및 추론 환경의 성능을 높이고, AI Factory의 핵심 생산 지표인 토큰 생산성을 극대화할 수 있다.
엠키스코어는 이번 총판 선정을 계기로 단순한 WEKA 솔루션 공급을 넘어, 고객의 GPU 클러스터 구성과 AI 워크로드 특성을 고려한 설계·구축·최적화 역량을 결합할 계획이다.

특히 GPU 서버, 네트워크, 스토리지 등 AI 인프라 각 구성 요소를 개별적으로 접근하는 것이 아니라 하나의 AI Factory 관점에서 통합 설계함으로써, WEKA의 데이터 플랫폼이 GPU 클러스터에서 최적의 성능을 발휘할 수 있도록 지원한다는 전략이다.

AI Factory specialist MKISCORE (CEO Jung Moon-ki) announced on the 31st that it has been named the official distributor of WEKA, the AI data and memory infrastructure company, for the Republic of Korea.
Through this partnership, MKISCORE will supply WEKA® NeuralMesh™ software and WEKApod® AI storage appliances to the Korean market, and will provide product training, technical consulting, sales support, and PoC and deployment assistance so that partners can deliver integrated AI Factory services tailored to customer requirements.
Over many years of executing large-scale GPU cluster and HPC/AI infrastructure projects, MKISCORE has built deep expertise and experience in the core factors that determine an AI Factory's performance and economics. In particular, the company has focused on the importance of holistic design and optimization across the entire infrastructure, including not only GPUs but also power, cooling, networking, storage, and operations software. MKISCORE plans to apply this experience to its WEKA distribution business, helping domestic partners accurately analyze customers' AI workloads and data center environments and propose optimized AI Factories.
The collaboration between MKISCORE and WEKA began with a reseller partnership in 2022. The two companies have worked together in Korea's AI and HPC markets since then, and this distribution agreement elevates the existing reseller relationship to a distributor partnership. It marks a strategic shift to expand their domestic AI infrastructure business in earnest, built on their accumulated collaboration experience and market understanding.
WEKA's NeuralMesh platform unifies high-performance data storage with extended GPU memory, supporting AI, machine learning (ML), and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads that require large-scale data processing. In an AI Factory in particular, securing high-performance GPUs alone is not enough. The entire data pipeline must be optimized so that the massive data generated during training and inference is processed without delay and GPUs can compute continuously.
WEKA's NeuralMesh software provides accelerated storage and context memory performance at scale, minimizing data bottlenecks in AI workloads and keeping GPUs fully utilized and productive. This allows enterprises to raise the performance of their AI training and inference environments and maximize token productivity, the core production metric of an AI Factory.
With this distributor appointment, MKISCORE plans to go beyond simply supplying WEKA solutions by combining its design, deployment, and optimization capabilities with each customer's GPU cluster configuration and AI workload characteristics.
Rather than approaching individual AI infrastructure components such as GPU servers, networking, and storage in isolation, the strategy is to design them as a single integrated AI Factory so that WEKA's NeuralMesh platform delivers optimal performance on GPU clusters.
