(SHANGHAI, Sept. 5, 2018 PRNewswire=연합뉴스) Prolight + Sound Shanghai (PLSS), the leading fair for Asia's entertainment, event and production technology industry which is organised by Shanghai Intex Exhibition Co.,Ltd., will return with an enlarged area of 48,000 sqm across four halls at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 10 - 13 October 2018. Compared to last year, the show's participating companies and brands have reached a record high of 650, which represents a 3% increase.
Visitors will have the chance to explore a comprehensive range of products and technologies, including pro audio, lighting, recording and production, stage and machinery, with numerous new and returning brands exhibiting this year.
As the premier trade platform of recording and production industry in China, PLSS presents a 6,000 sqm Recording and Production Zone orchestrating over 100 brands in audio production, and featuring the latest equipment, techniques and services used for real-time recording, multi-track recording in networking and individual consumer markets.
The Recording Software Quarters comprise over 10 international music software companies led by the International Music Software Trade Association, including Acon Digital, Blue Cat Audio, Celemony, Eastwest Sounds, Fabfilter, Nugen, Pianoteq, Relab, Sonnox, Sugar Bytes and U-He Software. A number of live and interactive demos will be played to showcase various DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and techniques of music software.
Elsewhere, the four-day event continues to offer learning opportunities for best practice within the entertainment industry, with its enriched PLSS Academy, featuring:

Concurrently held with Music China, the show is set to be the biggest and most comprehensive entertainment technology and music event in Asia.
