2013년에 제정된 HIMSS-엘스비어 디지털 의료상은 30개국의 120개 조직으로부터 218개의 신청을 받았으며 전 세계 4천100만 명의 환자들에게 영향을 끼쳐왔다.
제출 대상인 두 개의 카테고리는 다음과 같다:
- 최우수 ICT 성취 - 환자 치료와 안전을 성공적으로 진전시키기 위한 정보와 기술 활용에 집중
- 최우수 ICT 혁신 - ICT 적용, 환자 치료 및 결과를 개선하기 위해 기존 기술의 창조적 활용 혹은 획기적이며 새로운 솔루션 개발에 집중
올해의 상 프로그램은 호주, 중국, 홍콩, 인도, 일본과 싱가포르로부터 22건이 신청 접수된 작년도의 성공 위에서 이루어질 것이다.

The Seventh HIMSS-Elsevier Digital Healthcare Award in APAC Opens for Submissions
SINGAPORE, May 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- HIMSS Asia Pacific [http://www.himssasiapac.org/ ] and Elsevier [https://www.elsevier.com/ko-kr ] are proud to announce the call for submissions for the 7th Annual Asia Pacific (APAC) HIMSS-Elsevier Digital Healthcare Award 2019.
"The 7th annual HIMSS-Elsevier APAC award is a really significant initiative that was first incepted in Asia back in 2013 and today it is a global icon that spans across other regions including Europe, Middle East and Latin America. This year's Award program will build on last year's success, where 22 submissions were received from Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan and Singapore.
